Dallas Youth Sports Scholarship

About
In 2014, Dallas Youth Sports began to generate a scholarship fund with the sole purpose of aiding our youth seeking a higher education. Since then, DYS with the help of the Huerta Family Foundation and other organizational and individual contributions continue to grow their scholarship fund with the intention of aiding more students. Dallas Youth Sports promotes education, leadership, discipline, health and wellness through sports. This scholarship and its benefactors emphasize "promoting education" in our youth.

Purpose
To enrich the youth in our community by creating leadership and educational opportunities through sports and aiding their pursuit of a higher education.

Funding
Annual tournaments will be held to raise funds for the Scholarship Program. In addition, funds will be raised through other organizational and individual contributions toward this program. The DYS Board will maintain and distribute the funds to eligible recipients, as agreed upon by the DYS Scholarship Committee.
